I the girl who played Pullman… no one can step up to her and those teddy bear cronies. All that’s missing is some Guns N’ Roses “Welcome to the Jungle” riffs blaring in the background at the start of scene she’s in, especially this part:

Welcome to the jungle
It gets worse here everyday
Ya learn ta live like an animal
In the jungle where we play

If she were Theodore Roosevelt, I’d suggest she speak softly and carry a big Disco Stick (TM)!

while a ‘relative few’ showed up to protest, and while their actions may have been less than completely constructive, there is no reason to talk them down like they are simply a violent group of immature (and probably poor by your standards) students.
I did not show up to protest because I did not want any trouble with my record, but I firmly believe that the news coverage and attitude towards protesters is ever more immature and incomplete than their actions ever were, DAMAGE OR NOT. Maybe those people felt like the UC could spend a little money fixing a room with all the other campus building projects that our new tuition is being used for indirectly through bonds. Everyone needs to grow up or things will get a lot uglier.

Looks like Mac Dre. A hip hop artist most famous for his participation in starting the “hyphy” movement. He’s not nationally famous but he is well known in certain Northern California circles as he himself is from Vallejo (I think).

What’s so funny about the human condition, you know? See my “L’Existentialisme est un humanisme (Existentialism is a Humanism)” for more painful thoughts and thought control techniques.

Getting in touch with reality is a good idea, if it means anything. When you’re dead like me, anything is a good idea.

What’s missing in buddhism, wittgenstein, and this obnoxious bob dude is any real sense of the political context in which we live. Unfortunately, everything I touched in my life turned into Stalinsm. Or postmodernism, dear God.
